LOXLEY, Ala. — The Kennesaw State men’s golf team is set to conclude the fall portion of the 2024-25 season at the Steelwood Collegiate Invitational in Loxley, Ala.
The tournament is scheduled for October 26-27 with 36 holes to be played on Saturday and 18 holes to be played on Sunday at Steelwood Country Club. Saturday’s play will begin with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. ET. The final round will start with tee times from 8:45 a.m. to 10:51 a.m. ET.
The tournament is being hosted by South Alabama. The 14-team field features No.15 Illinois, Clemson, Kentucky, Kansas State and Virginia Tech among others.
KSU will look to continue its strong play this fall. The Owls enter off back-to-back team titles at the Cullan Brown Collegiate and Pinetree Intercollegiate.
Claes Borregaard earned Conference USA Men’s Golfer of the Week honors on Oct. 16 after taking home individual medalist honors at the Pinetree Intercollegiate. Borregaard finished at 3-under par and won by one shot over teammate Shaun Cook.
KSU is paired with Rice and Virginia Tech for rounds one and two on Saturday.
