ATLANTA – Sophomore Nyah Kelly shot her way into her second collegiate Atlantic Sun Golfer of the Week honor in as many tournaments for the Owls, the conference office announced Thursday.
The Ontario native led the Owls and finished tied for 12th at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational in Kapolei, Hawaii after back-to-back rounds of even-par, marking her second-consecutive tournament leading the squad.
She shot a 1-under 71 in round one to open the event and led the team in pars with 41.
Kelly’s first such award came on Oct. 12 after a fifth-place finish at the Dale McNamara Invitational. She has earned a golfer of the week award in both of the tournaments she has played in.
The Black and Gold return to the course Feb. 10-12 at the Columbia Classic in Melbourne, Fla.
