ATLANTA, Ga. – Oglethorpe senior Sam Karman has been named the Southern Athletic Association athlete of the week after a powerful performance at Camp Lejeune last weekend.
Karman finished sixth overall, leading the Stormy Petrels to a fourth-place team finish. Karman was one stroke off the lead after shooting 3 under par 69 on the opening round before settling in with a 74 and 73 over the last two rounds (216/even par total).
