Bluffton, S.C. – The Columbus State University women’s golf team finished play with the second round of the Lady Bearcat Invitational on Sunday, September 28th, 2014. The two-day tournament was held at the Old South Golf Links in Bluffton, S.C.
After starting the day in 21st, sophomore Courtney Lowery moved nine spots up the leader board to tie for 12th overall. Lowery carded a final round of two-over par 74 to finish six-over for the tournament.
Ciera Bagley nearly matched her opening round score of 83, firing a round of 84 on Sunday. The Baxley, Ga. native tied for 68th in the tournament at 23-over par.
Shelby Banta rounded out the Lady Cougar squad knocking two strokes off her score from Saturday’s first round. Her final round of 88 left her 34-over in a tie for 79th.
Columbus State will have two weeks off before they travel to Cleveland, Tenn. to play in the Lady Flames Shootout hosted by Lee University.
