Despite improving by five strokes from Monday, the Columbus State University women’s golf team failed to move up the leaderboard finishing in seventh place at the Armstrong Pirate Women’s Invitational Tuesday. The tournament took place at the Savannah Quarters Country Club.
CSU shot a 325 over the final 18 holes on Tuesday and finished the tournament with a combined score of 655.
Kaitie Cross finished the tournament in a tie for 14th place with a 14-over par 158 score. Madison Williams wrapped up play in a tie for 23rd place. She was 19-over 163 for the event.
Senior Kristin Galek finished in a tie for 33rd place with a 36-hole total of 22-over par 166. The final team scorer for Columbus State was Ciera Bagley. The sophomore finished 31-over par 175 and in 50th place.
