Alpharetta, Georgia (January 30, 2013) – Affiniti Golf Partners (www.affinitigolf.com) has been retained to manage Berkeley Hills Country Club, a private facility located in the north Atlanta suburb of Duluth, according to the company’s founding partner, Whitney Crouse.
Berkeley Hills was originally established in 1964 by a group of developers, then purchased by the membership in April 1984. It remains one of the few member-owned clubs today in metro-Atlanta.
The golf course at Berkeley Hills was designed by the trio of Arthur Davis, Ron Kirby and Hall of Fame golfer Gary Player. The 6,694-yard, par 72 course has a classic tree-lined layout and is distinguished by some of the finest Champion Bermuda greens in the area and a policy that allows walking the course anytime, even on Saturday mornings.
Says Crouse, “Berkeley Hills has been a fixture in Atlanta’s social and civic scene for decades and we look forward to putting a special shine on the club as it approaches its 50th anniversary next year.”
In addition to championship golf, Berkeley Hills Country Club offer its membership eight lighted tennis courts, including two clay courts, a lap pool and diving well, expansive fitness center, a board room and three private event rooms, plus casual dining in the Mixed Grill and Bar.
