GUADALAJARA, Mexico — Chantal El Chaib led the Georgia women’s golf team with a 27th-place individual finish as the Bulldogs placed 10th at the Collegiate Invitational at Guadalajara Country Club on Saturday.

· The Bulldogs played the Collegiate Invitational’s final 27 holes on Saturday, finishing the second round’s back nine before competing in the third and final round. Georgia shot a 12-over 300 in the second round, its best of the tournament, before carding a 315 in the third round to end the day. Georgia finished 10th as a team with a total score of 917.
· El Chaib was Georgia’s best individual finisher in the tournament, posting a 225 over three rounds to tie for 27th. The graduate student shot a 39 on the second round’s back nine before carding a 76 in the third round. El Chaib birdied three times in the tournament’s final round.
· Celine Brovold Sanne carded Georgia’s best score in round two, sinking four birdies en route to an even-par 72. She went on to place 38th with a +13 mark over two days of play.
· Kate Song used her momentum from nine-straight pars on the front nine on Friday to card a 73 in the second round. The senior posted an 81 in the third round to finish tied for 46th, joining El Chaib in producing three counting rounds for the Bulldogs in Guadalajara.
· Sophomores Morgan Smith and Grace Frei posted two counting rounds each, finishing tied for 50th and 58th, respectively.
· The Collegiate Invitational was the Bulldogs’ first team tournament of the spring and second competition in a two-week span. Georgia opened its spring season by hosting the individual Lady Bulldog Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 25.
