Marietta, GA-After a lengthy career that includes nearly twenty years of service to the Georgia State Golf Association and the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame, Mike Waldron will be replaced in his role with the GGHOF by Kim Cox. Most recently, Mike has been serving as Director of the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame. Mike has accomplished many important milestones for the GGHOF and GSGA over the course of his time here. We are thankful for his many contributions and his steady leadership.
Ms. Cox has been serving as Director of the Georgia State Golf Association Foundation and will assume the duties of managing the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame while continuing her efforts with the Foundation. She has been a primary contributor to the growth and success of the Foundation in recent years and is now charged with leading the Hall of Fame into the future. Her strong relationships with member clubs and members of the Allied Golf Group will serve her well as GSGA’s commitment to servicing the GGHOF expands.
This position will continue to manage and plan the annual Hall of Fame banquet. Additionally, Kim will work to expand the visibility and reach of the GGHOF through fundraising and publicity efforts coordinated with the Foundation.
