ATLANTA, Ga. – The PGA TOUR’s best have returned to Atlanta as the 2026 TOUR Championship begins today at East Lake Golf Club. The season-ending event features the top 30 players in the FedExCup standings, with every golfer starting at even par and the tournament winner also earning the FedExCup title.
Georgia golf fans will have a hometown favorite to follow in Russell Henley, the only Georgia native in this year’s field. The Macon native and former University of Georgia standout enters the tournament ranked No. 14 in the FedExCup standings. Henley will compete against a talented field led by Scottie Scheffler, Matt Fitzpatrick and Wyndham Clark.
The TOUR Championship runs Thursday through Sunday, bringing another exciting finish to the PGA TOUR season in the heart of Georgia.
