Georgia Tech sophomores Anders Albertson and Ollie Schniederjans and junior Bo Andrews were named to the 2013 All-East Region team Tuesday by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
A total of 155 players across six regions – Northeast, East, Southeast, Midwest, Central and West – earned all-region honors for 2013.
Albertson, from Woodstock, Ga., shot 66-67-68 to win the ACC Championship with a tournament-record score of 201 (-15), and was Tech’s high finisher in the NCAA Tallahassee Regional with a 7-under-par score of 209. He leads Tech with a 71.2 stroke average and has five top-10 finishes.
Schniederjans, from Powder Springs, Ga., is second on the team with a 71.6 stroke average, and has eight top-20 finishes this year and five top-10s. He tied for runner-up honors at the Puerto Rico Classic, his best of the year and tied for 10th place at the ACC Championship and tied for 19th at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional.
Andrews, from Raleigh, N.C., won the Gary Koch Invitational in early April and tied for 14th at the Tallahassee Regional. His stroke average of 72.3 ranks third on Tech’s team, and he has logged three top-10 finishes.
