Dahlonega, G.A. – The Columbus State University women’s golf team wrapped up play at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial on Tuesday, October 21st, 2014, by placing three players in the top 20 overall. The two-day event was played at the Achasta Golf Club in Dahlonega, Ga.
Courtney Lowery led the Lady Cougars on the second day of competition as the sophomore fired a five-over par 77. After a score of 80 on Monday, Lowery finished at 13-over overall and tied for eighth place.
Ciera Bagley concluded the event one stroke better than her teammate after Tuesday’s round of 80. Paired with her 76 in the first round, the Baxley, Ga. native ended at 12-over for the tournament in seventh place.
With a final round of 82, freshman Shelby Banta earned a 17th place finish. Her two-round total of 162 left her at 18-over par.
Columbus State has now wrapped up its fall season of competition. The Lady Cougars will be announcing their spring schedule at a later date.
