Jacksonville, FL-This summer the HJGT will host a series of 4 collegiate amateur tournaments at PGA tour quality venues. All events consist of 54 holes and are scheduled around major USGA qualifiers and championships. The Hurricane Collegiate Amateur Tour was created to give both men and women the opportunity to compete on a high level at premier courses with the unmatched professionalism the HJGT prides itself on.
Field size is limited and registration is in high demand. All events are on a first come first serve basis. The amateur tour will be visiting Georgia’s own Chateau Elan in Braselton on June 27 – 28.
Registration is open to players between the ages of 18-23 including HJGT alumni, collegiate players, 2012 grads, and amateur player looking for sharp competition at premier venues. At stake are rankings in The World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), the premier amateur ranking system in the world. The WAGR system ranks the top amateur golfers in the world based on their average performance in Counting Events over a rolling cycle of the previous 52 weeks.
