September, 2011 — Is Atlanta golf rookie Chris Kirk the next Tiger Woods? People all over Georgia are asking themselves this very same question due to Chris Kirk’s recent success on the Georgia golf courses. Although it doesn’t seem like beginner’s luck with the technique and skill that Kirk has recently displayed, people are wondering if Kirk is on the road to stardom or if his astounding accomplishments may fade among other PGA players.
Chris Kirk is only 26 years old and has already made a name for himself by playing in the PGA Tour. A native of Tennessee and a recent resident of St Simons Island, Chris Kirk is considerably young to be going pro, receiving his first PGA Tour Victory at the Viking Classic Tournament, where he played against seasoned professional golfer, Phil Mickelson. As of recently, people everywhere are beginning to learn of Chris Kirk and his amazing golf abilities.
What is to become of Chris Kirk? From the looks of it he has a great future in golf and is rising quickly on the money list, receiving his first check of $648,000 from his PGA victory. Kirk’s spot in the PGA Championship is leaving people wondering what his future holds for him and if this could be the next Tiger Woods. “This is a great accomplishment that I’ve been wanting all my life,” says Chris Kirk in an interview on being in the PGA tour. “But my work is not over.
