ATLANTA, Ga. – Oglethorpe’s men’s and women’s golf teams are headed to the 2025 Southern Athletic Association championships this weekend.

The Petrels will compete Friday-Sunday, April 25-27, in Dickson, Tennessee. Oglethorpe is currently ranked No. 9 in the country, and host Sewanee is ranked No. 4 according to the latest Clippd Scoreboard rankings.
Team leaders this season: Sam Karman, Jackson Hiller, Ryan Dunn, Beck Lewis and Corbin Scott.
The Petrels this spring won the Bill Cochran Collegiate, finished fourth at Camp Lejeune and fifth at the Savannah Invitational. They won the West Pines Collegiate back in October and were runners-up at the SAA Fall Preview. Hiller is currently ranked No. 19 nationally, followed by Karman as No. 45.
Karman, Hiller, and Dunn were athletes of the week.

The Petrels will compete Friday-Sunday, April 25-27, in Dickson, Tennessee.
Team leaders: Abrianna Carstens, Sophia Morettini, Elizabeth Powell, Alexis Sinutko and Katie Sulko.
The Petrels set the program 54-hole scoring record after finishing third at Camp Lejuene. Powell finished third individually, followed by Morettini in ninth, Carstens in 13th and Sulko in 15th. Powell was named an athlete of the week twice and is ranked No. 100 nationally. The team is ranked No. 63 by Clippd.
