KENNESAW, Ga. – Head coach Bryant Odom announced the 2024-25 Kennesaw State men’s golf schedule Wednesday.
“This schedule will challenge our team with competition across the country and amongst some of the best in college golf,” Odom said. “We are excited to once again be hosting at Pinetree, Linger Longer and returning to Puerto Rico and Arizona. Our first year in Conference USA takes us to Texarkana, Ark. and a new format that includes match play. ”
The fall season begins at the Southern Dunes Collegiate Invitational hosted by USC at AK Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Ariz. Sept. 9-11.
The Owls will play in the J.T. Poston Invitational (Western Carolina) in Waynesville, N.C. Sept. 15-17 and the Cullan Brown Collegiate (Kentucky) at Lexington Country Club on Oct. 7-8.
KSU will host the Pinetree Intercollegiate for the 11th time at nearby Pinetree Country Club on Oct. 14-15 before closing out the fall portion of the schedule at the Steelwood Collegiate Invitational at Steelwood Country Club hosted by South Alabama on Oct. 26-27.
The spring schedule commences at the Sea Best Invitational at Atlantic Beach Country Club in Atlantic Beach, Fla. The Owls then travel to Puerto Rico for the Palmas Del Mar Collegiate hosted by UNCG Feb. 9-11 for the third consecutive season.
The Owls will host the Linger Longer Invitational at the Great Waters Course at Reynolds Lake Oconee March 16-18.
KSU opens April at the Augusta Haskins Awards Invitational at Forest Hills Golf Club on April 5-6. The Owls close the regular season at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate hosted by North Carolina at the UNC Finley Golf Course on April 12-13.
The Conference USA Championship is slated for April 21-24 at Texarkana Country Club in Texarkana, Ark. This will mark KSU’s first time competing in the CUSA Championship.
The NCAA Regionals are scheduled for May 12-14 with Liberty, Washington, Arkansas, Nevada, Oklahoma State and Florida State serving as hosts. Texas will be the host institution for the NCAA Championships slated for May 23-28 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa (Champions Course) in Carlsbad, Calif.
