TARZANA, C.A. — The Georgia women’s golf carded a 319 in Tuesday’s final round of the Bruin Wave Invitational at El Caballero Country Club, placing the Bulldogs 15th in the team field at 967.
Sophomore Sammi Lee paced Georgia, both in the third round and in the final individual standings. Lee shot 77 on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2015, and tied for 40th at 234.
The Bulldogs also counted a 78 from Harang Lee and a pair of 82s, the score posted by Sylvie Brick, Isabella Skinner and Mary Ellen Shuman.
Overall, Harang Lee tied for 49th at 237, Skinner tied for 73rd at 245, Brick tied for 73rd at 251 and Shuman tied for 76th at 253.
No. 3 Washington won the team title after finishing at 890, nine shots better than No. 5 UCLA. The Bruins’ Erynne Lee was the individual medalist. She shot 216, five shots ahead of runners-up Sirene Blair of San Diego State and Anica Yoo of Oregon State.
Georgia will return to action this weekend when the Bulldogs play at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate at Long Cove Club in Hilton Head, S.C.
