PARKER, Colo. – In windy conditions where only one team broke 300, the Georgia State men’s golf team finished in seventh place at the Paintbrush Invitational at Colorado Golf Club on Tuesday.
The Panthers shot a final round 311 to finish at 49-over par for the 54-hole, two-day event.
Sophomore Maxence Mugnier shot a final round 78 to lead the Panthers with a tie for 27th. Freshman Mason Dean shot the low round of the day for GSU with a 3-over par 75.
Colorado State earned a six-stroke win over host Denver and Northern Colorado by finishing at 26-over par. CSU’s Davis Bryant earned low medalist honors at 3-under par as just one of two golfers to finish the event under par.
