AUGUSTA, G.A. – For the first time in program history, the GRU Augusta women’s golf team is ranked in the top 25 in the nation, according to Golfstat.com’s most recent national rankings where the Jaguars are listed at No. 25. The Georgia Regents Jaguars were ranked 28th in Golfstat.com’s last poll on October 15th, 2014 but steady play and three top-five team results this year – highlighted by a first-place victory at the Lady Pirate Intercollegiate, where they won by 19 strokes, has elevated them into national prominence.
