The Georgia Regents University Women’s Golf squad carded its low round of the tournament Monday in the third and final round of the Palmetto Intercollegiate at Turtle Point Golf Course.
The Jaguars turned in the fourth-best round of the day and finished in fourth place among the 19-team field. With the finish, the Jaguars finished fifth or better in all four fall events in 2013.
Freshman Jessica Haigwood’s 54-hole total of even-par 216 gave her a tie for second in the 99-player field. Jags’ senior Casey Kennedy tied for 26th. Freshman Eunice Yi was 33rd, freshman Josefine Nyqvist tied for 40th and Shannon Pak was 98th. Senior Christine Duschek-Hansen competed as an individual and finished 96th.
The Jaguars return to action in 2014 in the UCF Challenge on February 9-11 at Eagle Creek Golf Club in Orlando, Fla.
