HANAHAN, SC. — The No. 28-ranked Georgia women’s golf shot 7-over 291 in Tuesday’s final round of the Cougar Classic at Yeamans Hall Club. The Bulldogs finished eighth on the team leaderboard at 15-over 867.

• Sophomores Emma Falcher and Celine Brovold Sanne were Georgia’s top individual finishers, tying for 23rd on the leaderboard at 2-over 1-over 215.
• Sophomore Morgan Smith led the Bulldogs on Tuesday with an even-par 71. Georgia also counted a pair of 73s from Brovold Sanne and Grace Frei and a 74 from graduate Chantal El Chaib.
• The Bulldogs finished two strokes back of a four-way tie for fourth place between Miami (Fla.), Boston College, Florida and SMU.
• Brovold Sanne completed the tournament at 2-over, 10 strokes better than her best 54-hole tally as a freshman last season.
• Overall, Smith tied for 38th at 5-over 218, Frei tied for 47th at 7-over 220 and El Chaib tied for 60th at 11-over 224.
