“In a semester that continued to present plenty of challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I was proud to see four members of our team earn President’s List recognition – the top academic award given out at Georgia State,” head coach Jessica Steward said. “All year long our team stood up to the challenges that they faced and never backed down in the classroom or on the golf course. We look forward to things returning much closer to normal by the time we return in August and having a great 2021-22 season.”
For the 13th consecutive year, Georgia State student-athletes have maintained a grade point average of 3.0 or better as the athletics department posted a combined GPA of 3.15 for the spring semester.
A total of 209 individuals earned academic honors for the spring semester, highlighted by 46 student-athletes on the President’s List, Georgia State’s highest academic distinction signifying a semester GPA of 4.0 or higher.
