Augusta, GA (December 3, 2012) – Affiniti Golf Partners, the Augusta Golf Association and Forest Hills Golf Committee has tapped industry veteran Dan Elliott as general manager for Forest Hills Golf Club, the vintage Donald Ross design established in 1926.
Elliott comes to Forest Hills from another Affiniti Golf-managed property, the 54-hole Ford’s Colony Country Club in Williamsburg, Va., where he served as director of golf for the last two years.
Elliott previously was general manager at Jennings Mill Country Club, a private facility in Bogart, Ga. Prior to that he was head golf professional and human resource administrator at Heritage Shores Club in Bridgeville, De., after seven years as the director of golf at Grand Harbor Golf & Beach Club in his hometown of Vero Beach, Fl.
A management graduate from Gardner-Webb University, where he was a varsity athlete in baseball, Elliott later earned his Class-A membership in the PGA of America. He is very civically active, having coached three high school golf programs in his spare time, and being involved in ministry outreach programs at his local church. Elliott and his wife Sharon will live in Augusta.
