AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Georgia men’s golf team finished tied for fifth place at 28-under par after round three of the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational.
FAST FACTS:
- Junior Grayson Wood shot 5-under par in round three to land in fifth place and build an overall 13-under par score for the tournament. After a bogey on hole 7, Wood went bogey free on the back nine and earned three consecutive birdies on holes 11, 12, and 13.
- Freshman JD Culbreth shot five birdies to tie for seventh place. Culbreth shot even par in round three to maintain 12-under for the tournament. He also led the field in par fours.
- Sophomore James Earle stayed consistent shooting 1-under today, making an eagle on hole 11.
- The University of North Carolina finished in first place at 54-under par for the tournament, with Pepperdine following at 39-under par.
