ATHENS, Ga. — The University of Georgia men’s golf team will open its 2024-25 season at the Island Resort Intercollegiate at the Sage Run Golf Club in Bark River, Michigan. The 12-team tournament, hosted by South Dakota State, will consist of three rounds: two on Sunday, Sep. 1 and one on Monday, Sept. 2.
The Bulldogs lineup will consist of junior Carter Loflin, senior Buck Brumlow, sophomore Camden Smith, freshman Matt Moloney, and graduate George Langham. Freshman James Earle will be competing as an individual.
The tournament marks the first of five fall tournaments for Georgia, who will participate in the Valero Texas Collegiate at the TPC San Antonio on Sept. 21-23. The Bulldogs will round out 2024 playing in the Ben Hogan Collegiate Sept. 30-Oct. 1, the Falls Oaks Collegiate Oct. 19-21 and at the Ka’anapali Collegiate Classic in Hawaii on Nov. 2-4.
