MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Golf program and head coach Patrick Garrett released the fall schedule for Bobcat Golf Friday, featuring four tournaments in three different states.
Action gets rolling for the new-look Bobcats in South Carolina at the Kiawah Island Invitational hosted by USC Aiken Sept. 11-12. The Bobcats took 10th at this tourney last season.
The second tournament of the season comes Sept. 18-19, as the Bobcats make the first of two trips to Florida for the Jay Jennison Cup, hosted by Flagler College.
October brings the lone tourney in the Peach state, as the Bobcats travel to the North Georgia Fall Invitational from Oct. 2-3. In one of two top-five finishes for the fall, the Bobcats finished fourth at this University of North Georgia tourney in 2016.
Georgia College rounds out the fall with a stint back in Florida, playing in the Copperhead Championship for the first time. Held Oct. 16-17, the tournament is hosted by the University of West Florida.
The Bobcats start the 2017-18 with a returning All-Peach Belt Conference (PBC) student-athlete in the lineup in senior Thomas Hodges (Monroe).
