AIKEN, S.C. – The Augusta women’s golf team finished play at the More Than Golf Invitational presented by Bank of America and the Annika Foundation Sunday afternoon at Old Barnwell Golf Club in Aiken, S.C. The Jaguars finish in 12th place with Georgia Southern winning the event with an even-par score. Delaware and Illinois State finish in a tie for second place. On the individual front, Mary Miller of GSU was medalist, this after Miller was runner-up at the Valspar Augusta Invitational.

Marine Legentil was the low Jaguar on the day posting a score of 75. Legentil had three birdies on the day and finished in 40th place.
Overall, Zoe Pinillos had the best tournament score at 14-over par. Pinillos shot an 81 on Sunday with a pair of birdies.
Sara Adams posted an 80 and Jessica Pilgrim an 89 to count for the other AU scores.
The Augusta women’s golf team will next be in action Apirl 7-9 at the Liz Murphy Collegiate Classic in Athens, Ga.
