Anders Albertson completed a bogey-free round of 68 (-4) Sunday to finish fourth individually, and Georgia Tech held on to its fourth-place team standing in the weather shortened Linger Longer Invitational.
It was the second top-10 finish this year for Albertson, a sophomore from Woodstock, Ga. Ollie Schniederjans completed a 3-under-par 69 Sunday and wound up a 1-under 143 to tie for 10th, recording his fourth top-10 of the year. Seth Reeves (148, +4) tied for 32nd, while Michael Hines (149, +5) tied for 36th.
Alabama, ranked No. 2 in the nation, ran away with the team title for the third straight year after posting a 9-under-par 279 Sunday. Four of the five Crimson Tide players finished in the top 10, lifting their team to a tournament total of 560 (-16), 16 strokes clear of co-host Kennesaw State (E). No. 14 Oklahoma State (+1) was third, followed by Tech (+3) and Georgia (+6) in the 14-team field.
Tech returns to action April 8-9 at the Gary Koch Invitational in Tampa, Fla.
