Arcis Golf has acquired three private clubs in Georgia from Invited, expanding its presence in the Southeast and bringing its total acquisitions to 18 over the past three years.
The newly acquired properties — The Country Club of the South in Johns Creek, The Manor Golf & Country Club in Alpharetta, and White Columns Country Club in Milton — mark Arcis Golf’s fourth location in Georgia. The move follows the company’s May acquisition of The Woodlands Country Club in Houston, Texas, its 22nd property in that state.
“The acquisition of three historic clubs — each distinguished by exceptional courses, facilities and amenities — brings a fresh dimension to our diverse collection of private, daily-fee and resort properties,” said Blake Walker, founder, chairman and CEO of Arcis Golf. “We look forward to investing in capital improvements and bringing our family-centric, lifestyle-driven model to these clubs.”
All three clubs feature championship golf courses designed by some of the game’s most well-known names. The Country Club of the South includes a Jack Nicklaus-designed course long considered one of Atlanta’s most demanding. The Manor features a Tom Watson-designed course — one of only 16 in the world — and White Columns offers a Tom Fazio layout that consistently ranks among the region’s best.
Beyond golf, each property offers a mix of high-end amenities, including tennis, swimming, fitness, dining and event space. Arcis said it plans to invest significant capital in enhancements across the three clubs.
“It has been a true privilege to have been a steward of these outstanding clubs,” said David Pillsbury, CEO of Invited, the previous owner of the clubs. “We are confident that under Arcis Golf’s ownership, the clubs will maintain their renowned reputations and continue to deliver exceptional golf and lifestyle experiences to their members for years to come.”
Over the past four years, Arcis Golf has invested more than $150 million in property upgrades, amenities, personnel and technology to elevate member and guest experiences across its growing portfolio.
